Hi, I am Liam Brennan, and I am one of the Co. Founders of BusterBox.com. A Dog subscription box service based in Ireland. Over the past few years, my two business partners and I have managed to grow the company to thousands of subscribers in multiple markets. During this short journey, we have sold over $11 million worth of dog toys, treats, accessories and dog food. It hasn’t been easy, and I have learned a lot of valuable lessons, which I plan to share on this blog. From successfully appearing on Dragon’s Den and getting multiple investment offers to being threatened by Warner Brothers and almost sued into oblivion. I have seen it all.
Over the last few years I have become completely obsessed with the subscription model and I literally spend most of my waking hours thinking about churn, metrics, Payback periods and acquisition costs. I am going to use this blog to share all the knowledge that I have picked up. In the hope it helps other Subscription Box entrepreneurs get to their goals and cut down the steep learning curve. Subscription as a business model is extremely difficult but it can be very rewarding once you get it right.
